This is really a great product if you are running a 32 bit operating system BUT!!! if you are running a 64 bit operating system like Vista, DON'T GET IT, IT WONT WORK in any way shape or form with a 64 bit operating like Vista 64 or Windows 7 64. When I found out that this product wouldn't work with Vista 64, the company wouldn't take it back even though it is advertized as working with Windows Vista. There reason was because it comes in a sealed package. The advertisers just weren't specific as to which version it would work with. Good Luck.

I have really enjoyed this player, and it is still going strong nearly a year and a half after purchase. My only complaints are the slow start up time, a little loud on start up, and the occasional pickiness about what it will play. Some DVDs my son has made which play on other players will not play on this - and some will. Same with some commercial DVDs. It hasn't happened enough to drive me batty, and we do have other players when it does happen, but I thought it should at least be mentioned.

In short, it's a very good player but not perfect by any means.

Zenith XBV713 DVD VCR Combo

After having my Sanyo VCR for over 13 years, it finally decided to stop working. I mainly use VCRs for recording programs, and this seemed to be the one to replace it. I received it over two days early (which was great). I opened it up and loved the simplicity of the design and the layout. Anyone can use this. The DVD quality is outstanding!! The VCR quality is also spot on, however there were two minor issues. When I recorded over an older TV program I noticed that it didnt delete the first 10 seconds of sound from the older program, so when you would play it back you could hear the older program playing in the background for like 10 seconds, however its not the end of the world. Lastly I didnt realize it didnt have a coaxial inlet or outlet, however it comes with the RCA cords, and almost all cable boxes have RCA outlets. This works so much better than most other VCR/DVD players these days. I highly recommend purchasing this product.

I have been using these cameras for Praise/worship services, they do a great job serving its purpose. Clear pictures is what you really want and the still photos are also very good. If you get the battery that holds 248-250 minutes you have made the right choice. You can easily set your camera at the LP mode and many times you will get an hour of recording instead of 30 minutes. When I purchased this camera there were many negative reviews about this camera, but so far I have all the praise for this camera. There are several ways to play the .asf video files on the computer. First, media player in my windows vista does not play these files. It keeps saying there is an audio codec missing. I have the VLC player and it does play these files. I just went into the default programs area to associate .asf files with the vlc player instead of media player. You can also change the file name from .asf to .asx, I tried that and media player did play the .asx file. Also you can convert the file from .asf to something that media player does play such as .avi files. The camera software disc that came with the camera has a movie converter or you can use any other converter. I really like this camera, espesially it's ability to record off the tv or dvd player. In fact I was looking for a low priced camera to put in my shirt pocket while recording off my night vision device and I found it. My Canon TX1 does not have a video input,only output.
